Digital Wellness Optics
Eyesafe
Pioneering a new category in electronics and optics — where display performance meets human health.
“Screen time continues to increase at a shocking rate. We believe it is our responsibility to put the health of consumers first.”
Eyesafe is an electronics and optics company building the global standard for Digital Wellness Optics — patented technology that manages high-energy blue light from digital displays while maintaining color vibrancy and performance. Developed with doctors, engineers, and scientists with decades of experience in display materials, light management, optometry, and ophthalmology.
The company holds an extensive patent portfolio — including an exclusive global license from High Performance Optics — giving Eyesafe the most complete intellectual property position in consumer electronics blue light management. Every major PC manufacturer certifies displays through the Eyesafe standard.

World’s Strongest Blue Light Filtration
Eyesafe RPF60
Filters 60% of blue light at the wavelengths that matter most (435–440nm peak) while preserving full color accuracy. Uses the Radiance Protection Factor scale — a consumer-friendly standard for measuring blue light reduction. First adopted by ZAGG in its Glass XTR3 screen protector.

Utilizing Blue Light to Improve Display Performance
Eyesafe DTX
An advanced display stack technology consisting of a diffuser sheet and color filter that redirects blue light energy for improved luminance, color gamut, and power efficiency. Turns a health liability into a performance advantage. First adopted by BenQ.
Luminance boost
CES Innovation Award Winner
Eyesafe CFX
Color filter technology that simultaneously reduces blue light emissions, expands color gamut, boosts luminance by up to 20%, and improves power efficiency. Recognized with a 2024 CES Innovation Award for enabling the healthiest and most energy-efficient displays in the world.
CES Innovation Award
The Eyesafe Standard
The most comprehensive set of low blue light requirements for the display industry — developed with input from leading physicians and researchers in eyecare, certified by globally recognized testing bodies.
Certification Partner
TUV Rheinland
Tests and certifies the Eyesafe Display Standard — measuring blue light toxicity, circadian stimulus, color gamut, and color temperature.
Verification Partner
UL Solutions
Verifies Eyesafe Display and Accessory Requirements 3.0 using RPF (Radiance Protection Factor) and CPF (Circadian Protection Factor) metrics.

The Founder's Perspective
I co-founded Eyesafe in 2013 because I believed the light we stare at for hours every day shouldn't be something we simply accept without question. At the time, no one in the display industry was addressing the biological impact of high-energy visible light on human health. We set out to change that — not by selling fear, but by building a standard.
Today, Eyesafe is the standard. We've developed over 50 patents, certified more than 400 million devices, and built partnerships with the world's largest display manufacturers and OEMs. Our technology is embedded in screens from Dell, HP, Samsung, Lenovo, LG Display, and more — protecting eyes at the hardware level, invisibly. We call this category Digital Wellness Optics — and we believe it will be as fundamental to display technology as color accuracy and resolution.
